Your lines have tremendous force but there is a little too much dynamite in them for our sedate columns.

[Note: The Evening Star gave glowing coverage of the unveiling of the War Correspondents Memorial Arch in October 1896. Noyes was present at the event and was a large financial contributor to the memorial. His name is among the journalists recognized on the memorial.]
